1. Our approach
The corporate site does not use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. It uses technologies necessary for security, sessions, forms, and a display preference explicitly selected by the user. These require notice but not consent.
If non-essential analytics, personalisation, or advertising technology is added, it will be off by default and will not run before equally prominent accept, reject, and preference choices are offered.
2. Technologies on the SmarterMoment site
| Name | Type and party | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| smartermoment-session | First-party essential HTTP cookie | Secure session, CSRF protection, form errors, and authentication | Session or up to 120 minutes |
| remember_web_* | First-party authentication cookie requested by the user | Session continuity when “Remember me” is selected | Up to 400 days |
| kt-theme | First-party localStorage preference | Remember light or dark appearance selected by the user | Until cleared by the user |
| smartermoment_cookie_notice | First-party localStorage record | Remember that the cookie notice was recently shown | 12 months |
3. SmarterMoment SDK on customer websites
The SmarterMoment customer is the controller when deploying the SDK on its site. The customer must provide its own notice, obtain prior valid consent for non-essential tracking, and connect the SDK consent mode to its consent-management platform. No persistent identifier or tracking event should be created before consent.
| Name | Technology | Purpose | Duration and condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| ctf_vid | First-party localStorage on the customer domain | Link visitor behaviour in one browser for recommendations and measurement | Up to 12 months and only after tracking consent |
| ctf_sid | First-party sessionStorage on the customer domain | Link events in one tab session | Tab session and only after tracking consent |
4. Managing choices
Browser settings let you view, delete, or block cookies and site data. Blocking essential technology may prevent login, form, or security functions.
Analytics and personalisation choices on a customer website must be managed through that site’s cookie panel. Withdrawing consent should stop new tracking and remove persistent SDK identifiers.
5. Updates and contact
This table is updated when a technology, purpose, party, or duration changes. Questions may be sent to turkayaltintas@smartermoment.com.
